The effect that cupcakes have on me is just amazing. I mean, they're not exactly the nicest thing to eat (cloyingly sweet and this one's a bit dry) but I look at them I go awwww... and all cares in this world seem to vanish into thin air.
Had a lovely time at Italianni's/Laundry and The Apartment last nite with the disgruntled and dysfunctional bunch ie. the NSSC members (hehehe....) Hey, that includes me la wei. A tip: next time y'all go to the Apartment ask for a waiter by the name of Michael (from Nigeria). haha! Read Spena's rendition of last nite here.

They have Nigerian waiters there? Italiannies is filled with Filipino waiters, most of them don't understand Malay at all.

DNAS, banyak gagak la situ. The last time I went there it was Filipinos too. Our waiter at Italianis last nite was "blurrer" than the Nigerian though. I think he's Nepalese/Indonchinese or something. Weird.

oi, am not TUA ok. still kiut miut plus a couple of kilos..hahhaha... gym here boring ok, really, really boring. not like the ones we have in kl. so lepas gym, i go to the shop nearby and buy myself a donut. hee hee... got muffin top now. ouch!
but i do agree with you, masa i heartbroken yonks ago, i lost a lot of weight without even trying. now the weight just piles up without even trying also..hahhahah

cosmic gurl, the food is good but not like superduper good lah. The desserts are cool and the decor is very inviting. Portions are not that big though or maybe I'm just too greedy. But the waiters I tell ya, sangat menyusahkan - my friend asked for coffee and he thought she asked for cupcakes...
the recipe i got is from nigella's. sedap gila n easy to make.
gyms here are so boring. classes like aerobics, spinning are so yesterday. i'm so used to fitness first punya classes. they don even have pilates n ashtanga yoga at the gym. i always bitch n moan and i think my gym here dah penat dengar i complain.
eh, apartment's food goor or not? i heard food is so-so and service real slow.
eddy balik mesia je la they all sorts of classes at the gym now. pelik2. all types of yogas. the food at the apartment sedap jugak la.. portions are not that big though. the first time we went there service was quite slow but the second time i was there it has improved tremendously. come back laaaa
